- I’ve had several email questions about what I’m doing now. Not very much. I’ve retired and moved to Southern Oregon. We bought a house in Talent, Oregon, and moved the first week in June. My time since I retired has been spent in finding the house, moving, and exploring my new territory. I’ve also been reading a lot now that I have useful eyes again. I think this makes me “Transhuman“, since I now have abilities far beyond the human. I can see clearly after my body developed cataracts! :-) Sorry, I should explain the joke. I listen to a podcast called The Future And You, and they sometimes feature people who take technologic body enhancement very seriously. I claim that we’ve been doing this for a long time. Personally, I started when I got glasses in grade school. I know I wouldn’t be walking without some technological intervention. Anyway, I haven’t gotten bored yet, and don’t plan to look for more work until I do. Fixing up house and catching up on reading have kept me busy. I’m also checking out the local coffee housed, and have found a couple very local ones with friendly people for conversation. Oh, and we have some plays coming up soon, and…..
